This is such a classic! I know it was created in the recent past, but there's definitely something about the composition and uniqueness of the the subject matter that makes it stand out in my memory as one of your strongest pieces. It looks like it could've been created at any point in time..

I always find looking at first paintings very interesting. You can see how artists have evolved, the aspects of their art they chose to develop.

This is, I think, one of the better pictures from that book but I can still see lots of problems with it. One problem I'm still having is how to spread gouache over large areas...
