Green Skies Pencil Rough

And here's the pencil rough. It still went through a number of changes before being committed to paint. And the final painting is extremely vibrant so it has a different feel from this sketch. My next painting will be more monochromatic, I'm curious to see if I can retain more of the initial drawing if I pull back on the colours a bit. It's funny as I worked on this painting I was mumbling sound effects and I don't thin that's something I usually do, the train boat as I kept calling it hisses and clunks and makes grinding noises.
