A sketch from out the window of a train. I really love the Amtrack uniforms. Something I love about using a brush to draw is the way it forces you to consider the composition, unlike when I use a lot of hatching with pen I can't hide from some of the more fundamental aspects of good drawing because everything is pared down to it's simplest aspects ; every line and every dropped black counts and has obvious weight.Thanks for all the encouragement yesterday. It really helps.
