Every time I visit my cousins Gary and Stephanie in Montreal I have a great time. The conversation is fun and challenging, Gary knows great places to go for a drink and the food is always phenomenal. But this time they took things up a notch. After a delicious meal of chicken we had a chocolate mousse desert dipped in liquid nitrogen! This was Gary's attempt at molecular gastronomy and he really created something cool and delicious.
Here's what we had according to Gary : "We had Fennel Cole Slaw Ham Rolls: http://www.facebook.com/l/;http://meltingpan.com/recipes/26 , Poached Chicken with Cream of Mushroom Sauce http://www.facebook.com/l/;http://meltingpan.com/recipes/25 with a Mushroom Rice Pilaf:http://www.facebook.com/l/;http://meltingpan.com/recipes/24 . We finished it all off with Eggless Chocolate Moussehttp://www.facebook.com/l/;http://meltingpan.com/recipes/4 that I formed into balls and froze in liquid nitrogen"
